Funerals

A funeral is used to mark the end of a person’s life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for the life lived and commend the person into God’s keeping.

We are sorry if you have recently lost a loved one and please be assured of our thoughts and prayers. Your undertaker will be able to help and advise you in relation to the choices you now face for the funeral service. All three of our churches are available for funeral services. Your undertaker will normally arrange the booking of the church and minister and advise you of the charges. For more

Our churchyards are still open for the interment of cremated remains. There are certain regulations laid down in law as to what can and cannot be placed in a churchyard. Please see these Churchyard Regulations for the Parish of Pangbourne with Tidmarsh & Sulham for more detailed information.

For funerals or burials please contact our churchwarden, Jill Palfrey, for advice.
